McLays employee Lewis Stevens had never run more than 5 miles before running the Cardiff Half Marathon - and he completed the 13 mile course in a very respectable 2 hours 25 minutes.
He chose to run for his dad's charity, which is raising money for both www.newportmind.org and www.sizeofwales.org.uk and thanks to The Waterloo Foundation all funds raised are being matched.
Lewis managed to raise almost £1,000 which means both charities will get around £500 from his efforts alone. You can still donate at vist just giving website
The total money raised to date is now over £16,000.
Well done Lewis - and you deserved the Monday off to recover!
