With an existing relationship with Glamorgan Cricket, Cardiff City and Welsh rugby, McLays thought they could add another successful sporting team to their connections when choosing MiPost to be the match night sponsor for the Cardiff Devils.
The match they chose was Cardiff's first match of their Elite League title defence, against the Nottingham Panthers. A tough battle saw a great 3rd perdiod comeback from the Devils to give the home team a 3-2 win.
Many of the staff and guests had not been to see ice hockey before and all said they had a great time - and are very eager to return!
As part of the evening MiPost were given the chance to do the ceremonial puck drop as well as awarding man of the match prizes to both teams.
Paul James and Laila, one of his customers, had the pleasure of providing Benny Blood with his award.
